Jia Chang (장지아 1973 in Seoul, Korea) is an installation artist born in Seoul, Korea In 2001, he graduated from the media arts department of the same university in 2004, In 2014, he became the finalist of the National Museum of Contemporary Art today Jang-ji explores the inner part of the body which has been forbidden socially through video and installation works
Jia Chang lives and works in Seoul She received her BFA (2001) and MA (2003) degrees from Korean National University of the Art in Seoul
Zhang Jia has been persistently attracted to social themes such as secretions, violence, and sex through installations, images, and performances "OMERTA: The Silence of the Silence (2007)" , which consists of works using standing and peeing women's pussy and urine as objects, "I am talking about the boundaries of pain and pleasure by borrowing form of torture" Like The Reason Is You (2013) , which consists of objects made from blood of a slaughtered cattle and their production process, I Confess [2011] And continuously announces exhibitions that use the internal domain of the body, which has been regarded as lowly, as an aesthetic object, and challenge the social rules and perceptions of sharing normal / abnormal, beauty / subdue, sublime /
