Yun Du-seo(윤두서 尹斗緖 1668–1715) was a painter and scholar of the Joseon period. He is the grandson of Yun Seondo, a great scholar in Korean history. He passed the gwageo exam, but did not enter government service. Rather, he devoted his whole life to painting and studying Confucianism. His self-portrait is regarded as one of the many masterpieces of Korean art. Yun Duseo is also known for his yeongmohwa.
He is the great son of Yoon Sun-do, and his fourth son, Yoon, was in Sujong (26 years old). Because it was a time when the struggle was severe, he devoted himself to scholarship and spent his life in a poetry without exiting. It was good at writing and painting, especially in paintings of people, plants and animals. It is regarded as a pioneer of the flower bed of the late Joseon Dynasty.
